This was fun but it diagnosed me as Platonic. I fucking hate Plato. Tho some of the questions had multiple answers I would have blended and suspect those would have moved me closer to Nietzche. There's also a distinct lack of non-Western philosophy.

Asthma is one of the most common illness in children, but it is more prevalent in racialized (especially Black) children. Long COVID is more common than asthma among children, estimated at somewhere between 10 and 20%.

I did not know Long-COVID was more prevalent than asthma among young children. I knew several kids (family included) growing up who had asthma. This is deeply upsetting.

On the note of growing your own food: I think it is genuinely one of the most radical things you can do when you do it communally. There are lots of great folks, including the subjects of one of my favorite books, who did so and earned a lot of freedom from it.

Time for another book recommendation for BHM. Dear Science is probably more for academics but it is still one of my favorites. McKittrick's dialogue with Sylvia Wynter is really incredible. It takes some effort to understand but Wynter herself is among my favorite scholars. Changed the game.

I said very early on that COVID was here to stay and was going to become a seasonal virus. I was wrong about it being seasonal. We have a wave ~every 3 months. It doesn't have to be here to stay but people seem very committed to keeping COVID around.
