that thing in anime where everyone is wearing Victorian style clothes but when they have a beach episode somehow everyone is wearing bikinis

I almost never watch the dub if I can help it but all the witch hat atelier memes are kind making me want to watch the dub when I finally get around to watching it

I also got that little neon arcade sign today because I felt like that corner was a little dark and I think it goes nice with my arcade1up machine

growing up in a small town in the 00s was a weird mix of the modern era and old timey shit like my driver's ed class was run by my neighbor's dad out of a local church and we watched those 50s "driving with death" driver's ed videos where they pull charred corpses out of wrecked vehicles

I just finished resident evil requiem today (I know I'm late to the party) and what bugs me even more then them magically saving Emily is them acting like she doesn't have debilitating psychological trauma from transforming into a mutated monster and being shot a bunch

despite being autistic I don't really care about trains except those people that paint train cars to look super realistic with rust and grim and teeny, tiny super detailed graffiti that shit is awesome

it's weird seeing the fruit by the foot challenge go mainstream, they got families doing it on their official tiktok do they realize that it was originally about eating pussy? like if you won the implication was you were good at the cunnilingus? that's the only context I saw it in until recently

it's sad but one of the reasons I like chainsmoker cat is because half the time it reminds me of me and my friends during high school

slowly improving my galaga scores I would always play whenever I went to the arcade but I was never really able to play often enough to get any good at it. I haven't really played the other games on my cabinet I've just been obsessively grinding on galaga for an hour or so every day

I asked my wife if we could stop by ollie's told myself that if they still had any arcade 1up machines I would take it as a sign to put one on my card fully expecting them to be sold out I was not prepared when we walked in the door and the last one was sitting right in front of us

tubi subtitles crack me up, they're always spoiling shit like I was watching a movie about vampires and it's early in the movie when they're building tension, you haven't seen any vampires yet. there's some noise outside the house, what could it be!? [VAMPIRE SHUFFLES]

something that bothers tf out of me is when I buy an oversized sweatshirt but for some reason the sleeves are regular sized this is an xl and I am a fairly small person, why am I struggling to push the sleeves up? someone who actually needs to wear an xl would be having their circulation cut off

watched the first two episodes of the new ghost in the shell and it's sooooo good it's everything I wanted SAC to be back in the day. I always found that show so boring despite really loving cyberpunk as a genre

I usually have an aversion to most smart home products because they all spy on you but even though they still probably spy on you I really like smart bulbs. I like being able to set the vibe, like dim certain lights and change the temperature and color

I don't often think about how weird my setup is having having two old crts tvs for monitors (one of them being a huge console) but it really hit me today when I had to bust out the usb Webcam for a telehealth visit I was like "this would probably work better if I just a had desk with a monitor"

I just started 100 girlfriends and this show would be so much better if it were yuri, just sayin it also makes me feel like having multiple partners must be exhausting, it does not sound like fun to me at all. I could maybe do a throuple but I just don't have the capacity for anything beyond that

I kind of hate the way everything gets abbreviated online because my wife made me this beaded phone charm that has the trans flag colors and our initials with a heart in-between except our initials are S and A so whenever I look at it I can't help but see I ❤️ sexual assault 💀

my dad has always kind of hated me, coming out was just the straw that broke the camel's back he resented me as a child for taking attention away from him. he also resents me because I remind him of all the things he hates about himself except I have the audacity not to feel ashamed about any of it
