For those unaware of this history, this practice (using higher radiation exposure during x-ray procedures) was due to the belief that the oral tissue of Black patients is more resistant to x-rays than those of White patients.

We’ve had nearly 3 years of review, review, review. We need reviews, but it’s blindingly obvious that Australian research needs much greater Government investment while those reviews are done. This was true 3 years ago. Still true now. By @drjr.bsky.social

It is with great pleasure that the ANZSIL Annual Conference Organising Committee announces the dates, location and theme of the ANZSIL Annual Conference 2025!

The 32nd ANZSIL Annual Conference will be held on Wednesday 2 July – Friday 4 July 2025 at the Australian National University (ANU), Canberra, Australia.

The Conference Theme is: ‘International Law: Silence, Forgetting and Remembrance’.

The Postgraduate Research Student Workshop will be held on Tuesday 1 July 2025.
