New peonies take a few years to bloom. What is odd is that I now have a white one in a grow bag in my backyard. I bought a pink one and a red one that are in my front yard. I have no idea how it got there. Squirrels tend to steal cherry tomatoes and bury nuts. I am clueless how it got there.

I live north of Explodey mountains, Left of Busy Soccer, and before not ocean. This was taken from the WSDOT page for the soccer/football games for those not from here.

I planted a couple of peonies three years ago. Finally, I have this. Just one flower. Now I need to figure out how I get more blooms. This is a good start though! I am hopeful. 🌱#gardening

Just because a seed company is in X or Y state doesn't mean that the seed was produced in that area. My understanding is that a lot of companies get their seeds from China. It was supposedly the cause of "peppergate" a few years ago. YMMV etc.

Use the Ever Given to block the strait to create a dam. Maybe hire some beavers to shore it up. Once the dam is created, you can use the extra water to float other boats across ;)

My vision must be going. I thought you were drying green beans at first glance. I thought Orchids needed that special growing medium. I didn't know you could grow them on planks. (I've never tried growing them)

What they are offering is below minimum wage in Seattle. Possibly other parts of the state as well. I'd apply for giggles and grins, but due to the minimum wage issue, they likely would not be able to hire me. 😊

I know she likes those cabbage roses. It's so wet here that powdery mildew and black spot are real concerns.

Ok. I've not grown them. S wants me to grow some climbing ones. I don't have a good spot for them, or a trellis to train them on. She is going to have to wait a bit longer.

My sunflowers didn't germinate this year. I don't have roses, but I was under the impression that they bloom up until the frost?

I add compost to my existing dirt and Dr Earth granular fertilizer for tomatoes and veg when I transplant my veggie starts. My alyssum and columbine are going fine with none. I use grow bags and raised beds because I have hard pan soil.

I was using the big bloom in order for my squashes to bloom since they weren't getting any. It's probably too cold at night since it's been in the 50's overnight here. Do you have a brand of fertilizer you would recommend? I hear fish fertilizer, but I don't know a good brand or NPK

I don't feel so bad then. 😊I'm happy that I my cabbages are starting to head up. I transplanted them back in March. They are about 4-5 inches.

I do Fox Farms Big Bloom once a week for fertilizer. They seem to get enough sun, so I don't think that is the issue.

I shake my tomatoes plants gently. That usually does the trick. I've been using Fox Farms Big Bloom to fertilize once a week when I water. Do you have a preferred brand of fish fertilizer you use? What is the NPK of that? I would like to compare with what I've been using.
