What exactly is your question? 1. That's what this article is about, and that is what I reacted to. 2. I'm trans! It directly impacts me in a way that could be detrimental to my health, safety, ability to work and to simply move about the country freely without fear of being harassed or detained.

I am not a man. Evan Urquhart is not a woman. No matter what Trump's government said. So much of what Trump wants to do targeting trans people will depend on cisgender people to enforce his policies and police our bodies and spaces we exist in. So much can be stopped by people refusing to do so.

Reading through this bill, I didn't find anything pertaining specifically to LGBTQ people or terminology. The amendments seem to focus exclusively on expanding the ability to prosecute an offender even if the "victim" is undercover law enforcement.
