refugee from X cesspool. hopefully a surviving witness to Trumpocalypse 2.0. I block MAGA, if you voted for Trump you have nothing intelligent to say and I have no desire to waste a moment of time engaging with you. I don't care if it bothers you.

you are certainly free to decry the use of nuclear bombs or the firebombing of Dresden in Germany. but only lunatics would say we had no justification to act in those countries, likewise Israel had to act in response to 10/7. Hamas has to be destroyed, the argument is in how not if.

yes, but we celebrate VJ day and VE day, victory in Europe happened because we invaded Germany, victory in Japan because we used nuclear bombs on Japan. yet we still celebrate those days (though less and less as most survivors die off) of course our invasion was in response to their's so justified

even today the west refuses to allow Palestinians to leave. you can't scream genocide and pretend screaming that is enough. if you truly believe Israel is doing it how in God's name can you not open your nation's (figurative) doors to Palestinians families?

so platitudes is your answer, not actions. congrats, you solved the issue of the Middle East how about: stop giving Israel offensive weapons. allow Palestinian families to leave throughout Europe and America. fund refugees aid for Palestinians. if need be sanction Netanyahu and Likud over West Bank

You know what I've avoided everything Hamas not attacking Israel on 10/7. Europe open their doors to Ukrainian refugees when the Russians attacked. Even that many came to America. That door was slammed shut for Palestinians everywhere. This atrocity I don't see you condemning.

The Iranians fully intended to mass murder American soldiers in American bases in the Middle East, that is called self-defense. I would not condemn them for using the only tools available to them. I don't think America is justified in this war, but I don't want American soldiers to die either

As I said way above, the greatest fault was the West not allowing Palestinians to become refugees within their countries because Urban warfare is the most destructive warfare there is. People on the left refused because they said it would be ethnic cleansing but they didn't say that about Ukraine

I'm curious do you think the American intervention in world war II constituted mass murder? I did Nazi that coming. My own great-grandfather and great uncle died in Germany but if it hastened the ending of the war by one day, it was worth it. The Nazis had to be defeated whether you like it or not

Objectively if you were to read that post alone you wouldn't be able to tell if he agrees with me or disagrees with me because who the hell justifies the slaughter of a thousand people in Israel except morally bankrupt people?

Yes, a thousand innocent people at a music festival and just living their lives is mass murder.

there were ZERO settlements in Gaza, Gaza was a fully independent statelet that was partially funded by ISRAEL. yes, you can blame Netanyahu for funding Hamas but Hamas didn't have to attack Israel on 10/7

my brother is 65, his wife is 61 so he has been doing nothing but complaining about how much his rates have jacked up. and he is fairly well to do retiring from his former job as a companies VP. granted he hated Trump from beginning but was a GWB/McCain/Romney supporter.

beihai.bsky.social @beihai.bsky.social · 7h
my brother is a former Republican who is using the ACA for his wife until she is at retirement age. the suburbs are far more in play for Dems I think because of the general insanity of Trump and I doubt more than a tiny few will be swayed by a mere $500 which is a fraction of their rate increases.
110
beihai.bsky.social @beihai.bsky.social · 7h
the ACA is a Dem initiative so I wonder how many eligible MAGA refuse to sign up for it because OBAMAcare, I wonder how many Dems he is willing to bribe to no good effect, that is if they get it at all and given that ALL of them are paying a lot more now than they did under Biden.

you are wrong. it goes against history of civilization. you ignore hegemony, how non-European indigenous people have been conquered, even enslaved, and some cases exterminated, based entirely on race and ethnicity. the preservation of unique heritages is good i am signing off this tedious argument.

beihai.bsky.social @beihai.bsky.social · 9h
my point is that when her family came from China they were expected to assimilate to Irish culture. ethnicity is not just genetics, it is heritage. the purpose of a nation-state is to preserve the heritage of the original indigenous people.

It absolutely would have increased Palestinian deaths. You have got to be one of the most profoundly stupid posters I've ever read. The street fighting is far more dangerous to civilians. Because of this, this is why civilians always try to flee. You refused to welcome them. You are genocidal
000
beihai.bsky.social @beihai.bsky.social · 11h
How many refugees did Europe take from Ukraine? How many in America? Why are Ukrainian lives considered to be more valuable than Palestinians? I absolutely would have welcomed Palestinian refugees into my town. There is zero evidence they would have destabilized America
000
beihai.bsky.social @beihai.bsky.social · 11h
Except that is complete and utter nonsense. Gaza had a 7-mile border with Egypt. Pick up a single book on Urban warfare. look at what's going on in Ukraine. The Russians progress is exceedingly slow because they run into towns, not cities, just towns that they cannot even conquer.

Oh look we have an armchair general. I 100% guarantee you never served in the military as you seem staggeringly ignorant about it. Hamas has an army. Who do you think killed the thousand people in Israel and kidnapped the rest?
000
beihai.bsky.social @beihai.bsky.social · 11h
Hamas. Hamas was their army. You are without a doubt, one of the most profoundly stupid people I've I've read here in a long time. Every army on Earth values their own soldiers over the lives of enemy, combatants and even enemy civilians. You staggeringly stupid man. Obviously you've never served
000
beihai.bsky.social @beihai.bsky.social · 11h
This is one of the most staggeringly ignorant things I've ever read. Every army on Earth values their own soldiers over the lives of the enemy combatants and even enemy civilians. This is the nature of war. If you value enemy civilians more than enemy, combatants will use them as Shields
000
beihai.bsky.social @beihai.bsky.social · 11h
Wtaf? Patton said no war was ever won by soldiers dying for their country. Wars are won by making other soldiers die for their country. Of course, I don't want any American soldiers to die. Of course I value them more than the enemy soldiers. Every army is this way.
100
beihai.bsky.social @beihai.bsky.social · 11h
I can only imagine how it would have gone over if during world war II you would have said we can't bomb German cities. We have to fight street by street. US soldiers were under no obligation to die while the German army used civilians as human Shields.

Okay how is it nonsense if you grant me that the fact that the IDF did not want to die in the tens of thousands in Street to Street fighting. Again, I blame the racism and bigotry of the West for not allowing Palestinian refugees into their borders.
100
beihai.bsky.social @beihai.bsky.social · 11h
All Palestinian civilians could have been disarmed as they were taken out into Egypt and from there to Europe and US. Then Hamas could have been starved into submission. Too many people on the left claim that would have been ethnic cleansing but that is nonsense. Are Ukrainian refugees cleansed?

beihai.bsky.social @beihai.bsky.social · 12h
In the battle for Stalingrad Hitler's armies lost between 300,000 and 500, 000 casualties. Street the street fighting would have been far more devastating to both the Palestinians and the IDF. If any fault lies for the deaths, it was that Europe and America would not take temporary refugees.
310
beihai.bsky.social @beihai.bsky.social · 12h
The intensity and longevity of the battle for Stalingrad help bring about the defeat of the German army. Between 300,000 and 500,000 troops were lost in the battle for Stalingrad.

all that political ads I get just annoy me and I hate watching youtube because I am hit with ads too, I skip as soon as possible even if it is for my candidate i think having ad free Prime or other things spoiled me as to watching ads anymore. for football games I just turn off sound and browse net

for things like Gov/Lt. Gov/Senate I look up major candidates positions, how much they raised, their polling, etc. Shapiro was a no-brainer because he was AG, Austin Gray for Lt. Gov I supported because Shapiro endorsed him. (in PA Lt. Gov runs separately in primary) also primaries have less adverts

for the Dem primary for Congress I voted for McClure but that was based on his being what I thought was a good county executive who won in 2 landslides so I also thought he'd win general, Bob Brooks did and I just voted for him. i made up my mind for McClure when he announced.

beihai.bsky.social @beihai.bsky.social · 07/10/2026
Oh I don't disagree. I'm just saying as to myself I have no idea what would and would not work as far as advertisements would go to sway me to vote for a particular candidate because none do. At most I would say one might turn me off a candidate but I don't recall that happening

Laura Kelly is the Dem Gov of Kansas, two term in fact, and she ran as a Kansas Dem. i don't find what he said controversial. The problem in Kansas is they periodically alternate between Dem and GOP Governors but never elect Dems for Senate, the years with GOP Gov it is bad as GOP has legislature

now to be honest when he uses the term ratify I don't know if he means it in the sense of ratifying a treaty or not. that would require 2/3rd of the Senate. I do know we have extradition treaty with Trinidad and not a damn thing the GOP could do to stop Dems lieber.westpoint.edu/united-state...

Trinidad is another place we have an extradition treaty with. Send him and headset down there on trial for murder on the high seas.
000
beihai.bsky.social @beihai.bsky.social · 07/10/2026
That would require a treaty but we already have extradition agreements with places like Antigua and Venezuela and it would be glorious to have him stand trial for the murder of fishermen in the Caribbean.
210
beihai.bsky.social @beihai.bsky.social · 07/10/2026
Not if we have a Democratic president. Yes, I know, Technically it has to be a treaty but do what Trump did to others. Simply send him over and then have the court rule afterwards that we couldn't send him over. Or make it simple: extradite him to Venezuela or Antigua. Trump murdered their fishermen

again, the thread is about Zionism being racism. this goes to the fundamental part of humanity that longs for IDENTITY. humans are tribal and hierarchical. formation of most nations was based on what tribe and what leader could conquer most land and other people.

we do in the United States for all but the few remaining indigenous people. we are not based on ethnicity though much of it is based Anglo-saxon values. until the 1960s even we excluded most non-Whites even though we are ostensibly a color blind non-ethnic nation.

now it is complicated by the fact that the local gov't rejects a push to allow them to be US citizens because they fear that it would mean they couldn't continue their own traditions and practices. i think that is unfounded because we could declare the land as akin to a Native American reservation
