Panel 1: When I was 13, other girls my age made me care about my appearance.
2. So, I gave in to peer pressure and plucked my eyebrows. (It hurt!)
3. I was actually happy how it turned out.
4. Until one of the girls who I thought was nice pointed it out to [everyone at my table] in art class. The said classmate points to the deer and says "Woah Diana? You FINALLY trimmed your brows? It looks good :)"
5. She didn't say it with ill intent, but the idea that people thought my eyebrows were big and ugly made me feel bad.
