Shoutout to the double window in kris's room This is because the lower window is part of the room's sprite, while the top one is added through code and it's the one that opens during ch1's intro. It's actually hidden during the ch2 intro, but if you leave and come back it's there

Do you have any mods installed or are you playing it on some sort of emulator? I don't think this is possible to achieve by any means on the unmodded PC/Steam version and those game borders surrounding the game window aren't a thing on PC unless you mod them back in

Fun deltarune fact: The latest patch of Chapter 2 broke the moss of all things. If you eat it you can no longer interact with the "The room between..." tree. You also can't get the "I guess marimos are kind of cute?" dialogue from Noelle afterwards either

my hope is that after deltarune is done toby hires some experienced players (my mind goes to speedrunners/no hitters but not necessarily) to fix all the hundreds of bugs and inconsistencies across the game. That'd imply devs will touch ch1 tho, and we all know that's not possible

Opening up DELTARUNE's datawin files shows that DELTARUNE still uses an older collision system and unchecking that seems to revert it back to what it was before... Which is weird because it already had this setting pre-LTS so I don't know the precise details of what the hell is going on

Tenna's battle theme has a supposed older version left in the game files. But despite it being called "tenna_battle_old" it is completely identical to "tenna_battle" with zero differences.

An issue like this actually has existed even before this, certain types of collision checks like what overworld bullets are checked with also did this so the mansion ufo bullets have always been god awful even in the first chapter 2 release. Post-LTS it just broke here as well

Yeah pretty much after the LTS beta rectangle type collisions started to just use the bounding box around them rather than where the rectangle mask would actually be if it didn't scale and also properly rotated with the sprite lol

Hey do y'all wanna see something insane The LTS game_change() public test from a while ago involved a gamemaker update and Toby was hoping a collision change wouldn't affect his game. ...It didn't break that exact way but it did wreck the hitbox quality of many bullets in the game lol #DELTARUNE

The bromides of Flowery in Chapter 5 are a reference to the bromides found in the Lunar JRPG series. These are collectible items that show scrolling photos of various characters. Flowery's bromide of him in the bath is a parody of two particular bromides in Lunar 2: Eternal Blue.
