On this day in 2000, 12-year-old Muhammad al-Durrah was killed by israeli troops in Gaza. These images capture his father's desperate attempt to shield him. He was pleading with the soldiers not to murder his son. They killed him anyway. Never forget. It didn't start on October 10.
