I had to change my profile picture because I have never come across a Chansey art as cute as THIS! The artist's name is Oliver Hamlin on Tumblr! #PokemonTCG #Chansey #Pokemon

I’ve been drawing some of my experiences in a little pocket-sized sketchbook over the past couple months after not having done any drawing in four years. Super happy with the way some of my drawings are coming out! :)

There’s ways around it in the standard TCG - being able to place damage counters to Pikachu before your attack with an ability (Munkidori, Radiant Alakazam, etc.) Then, most Pokemon ex can take down a 180hp Pikachu and the ability is now ignored! This does assume damage is on the opponent’s side

Just put an order in for cards for my first Pokemon TCG retro decks!!! So pumped to try older formats with my girlfriend and friends at my LGS. It’s going to be Blaziken vs. Team Magma’s Groudon in the 2004 format.

Halloween party was a success - my girlfriend painted a cute ghost group with a pikachu headband, I painted Pennywise, and she took a silly pic of me🤣

3-0 at the Surging Sparks prerelease today!! Never put a deck list pic together so I wanted to take a decklist pic like all the Pokemon TCG pros do. 🥲 #pokemontcg

Imagine having four copies of this Eevee and four of the “ex”, then you can have up to eight different Eeveelutions ex at once! 🤪

Oh that’s a good point with Mimikyu - it’s hard to justify hitting yourself for so much damage to knock out a single prizer (unless you win the game with the final KO😂) But yeah it bypasses Farigiraf ex since it’s only for attacks and not for effects!

How do you guys pronounce this guy’s name? I’ve been calling him “jjjjzock”, like I’m french or something. But should he be pronounced “Jack”? I have no idea…

I made a section in my binder for my favorite #ptcg cards - traded from friends or movie promos, I have a nice memory for each of these!

I feel you… Please don’t buy more cards for your sanity or you end up with hundreds of boxes all organized by alphabet, trainer type, type, etc……. You will lose years off your life for all the patience it takes to maintain😭
