I’ve worn a grubby RNLI cap for decades. I sound London, but I was born in Truro and I was a basically feral (Gen X) kid wandering the coast path with a dog until sunset for a lot of my early life. The lifeboats are in the fabric like trawlers and farms and pasties and fish and chips.

#JustFinished N11 in the OrphanX series from Gregg Hurwitz Didn’t enjoy this one as much as the others, he’s started to explore his “feelings”. It was always the death knell for tv series when they started doing that, still remember how angry I was when Starsky & Hutch did it in the 70s…. #BookSky

#JustFinished Last Orders - Denzil Meyrick N12 in the DCI Daley series. Excellent seeies, thoroughly recommend to anyone who likes a porridge-based detective. Didn’t enjoy this one anywhere near as much as the others though, good story but the switch to London just didn’t do it for me #BookSky
