Perhaps I need to reopen my “Pickpocket Rey” doc because 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

When a small figure manages to make it a half a block before he realizes his wallet is missing, Kylo thinks he’s found a new recruit.

When the assailant turns around, he knows he’s in trouble.

AKA: Fresh out of high school pickpocket Rey meets hardened criminal Kylo Ren.

“Kylo Ren,” she starts, mustering every bit of false bravado. “I must speak with you.” The words are foreign on her tongue, as she attempts to hide both her royal accent and her gender. “In private,” she adds, hasty, an edge too desperate before she can stop herself.

His eyes almost sparkle. Sinister. Curious. Again, a chill, her body warning her.

But at least tomorrow, it will not have to.

Not if all goes according to her plan.

“And what might this be regarding…Ser?” His smile belies the annoyance of being interrupted.

His intonation tells her that her disguise may not be as foolproof as she intended.

“This is a matter of…a personal nature.”

Again, curiosity—heavier this time, nearly crushing her under the weight of it in his gaze, and she hopes, in this moment, that his desire to know is enough.

“I could make it feel good for you, you know.” His tone is self assured, dripping with confidence. She hates it.

“Will my husband make it good for me?” she bites, knowing the answer.

He does not even need to say it.

“Very well.”
