I would try this, block it & try to stretch it to the right measurements, and if it doesn’t work out correctly at that point, you can decide if you want to keep it or use the yarn for something else

You'll always have a chance next year!! This pattern (Conjoined Sock Twins) was interesting because you knit from the toe of one sock to the cuff, then keep knitting the second sock from the cuff to the toe & separate them! We've been calling it a sock snake 😂

Continuity is a sock pattern that I am designing for Expression Fiber Arts! I have a code for 15% off the recommended yarn if you are interested.

The deadline is March 22nd for ONE SOCK! You do not need to complete both. They are intended to be worn at mid-calf length, but this is easily adjustable. There are 5 size options, but I only still need testers for the smallest and largest.

Info:
SIZES: XS (XL) for foot circumferences of 6 (10)" /
15 (25) cm. Measured at the ball of your foot, blocked.
Number of CO sts: 48 (80)

Construction: Worked in the round - Charted instructions - Heel flap & gusset - Wedge style toe - Contrast color for cuff, heel, and toe

Yarn: Expression Fiber Arts Sincere Sock
Colors: MC) Freedom Flight; CC) Chalk
Approximately 220 (480) yds / 200 (440) m of MC; approximately 40 (80) yds / 35 (70) m of CC

Gauge: 34 sts and 44 rows = 4" (10 cm) in Stockinette stitch, blocked by laying flat and slightly stretching to measurements if needed

Needle: US size 1 (2.25 mm) DPNs or size needed to obtain gauge. You can also use circular needles or Magic Loop method, but the pattern is written in terms of DPNs

Tools: Tapestry needle for weaving in ends, at least 1 stitch marker for BOR

Level: Intermediate: This pattern is for those who feel comfortable with sock knitting and have made a few projects, using various skills and techniques. Skills/concepts include: German Twisted CO, grafting, k2tog, p2tog, ssk, using DPNs, simple cables, picking up stitches, and reading charts

I have a drop spindle rn and it works nicely, but I think I just don't like the step of winding the yarn onto the shaft, so I figured an actual wheel/electric spinner would eliminate that aspect or at least make it less tedious
