Do not look away from Palestine because this is not the end of the work. We continue until all of Palestine is liberated and the occupation ends.

Donate where you can.
On-the-ground organizations like Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP), Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF), and Baitulmaal will be critical in rebuilding Gaza.

Support advocacy groups. Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM), Adalah Justice Project, and
US Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR)

Do not look away from Palestine. Keep watching, keep speaking, and keep acting to ensure that the world does not forget, and that the urgent work of liberating Palestine continues.

After 470 days of genocide, and over 76 years later, the occupation continues across all of Palestine, from Gaza to the West Bank.

The ceasefire is still opposed by prominent Israeli politicians, like Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, who are lobbying for the killing to continue. Smotrich stated on X:
“This is the time to continue with all our might, to occupy and cleanse the entire Strip, to finally take control of humanitarian aid from Hamas, and to open the gates of hell on Gaza until Hamas surrenders completely and all the hostages are returned.”

What can we do? Do not stop talking about Palestine!

Put pressure on congress.
We can’t trust the outgoing or incoming administration to hold Israel accountable. In our Linktree are resources to find your representatives, as well as links to scripts through USCPR, Adalah Justice Project, and JVP.

Continue to put financial pressure on complicit companies while the occupation continues.

What does the ceasefire mean? While an immediate ceasefire is a necessary first step toward rebuilding Gaza, and a welcome development, it is not the end of the occupation. Nor does it change anything for the rest of occupied Palestine, including the West Bank, where violence has been constant and intense. And so,
IT IS NOT THE END OF THE WORK.

Under the deal, Stage One — lasting 6 weeks — would see Hamas releasing a number of its remaining hostages, while Israel has pledged to release a number of Palestinian prisoners, thousands of whom have been jailed for years without charge or trial in prisons that have been described through evidence as torture camps. Israel will pull its troops from all populated areas of Gaza, while Gazans will be allowed to return to their homes, though the majority have been destroyed. Stage Two would see a “permanent end to the war.”

But even after the truce was announced on Wednesday and up until Sunday morning, Israel continued its bombardment of Gaza with increasing intensity. Air strikes in Deir el-Balah, Al-Nuseirat, Khirbet Al-Adas, Al-Bureji, and elsewhere killed more than 100 Palestinians, including children, a journalist, and medical professionals.

After hours of delay, Netanyahu continuously repeated this is a temporary ceasefire and that
the “war” will resume.
