I’m feeling a little insane about what seems like a sudden influx of media articles about the impact of school holidays on families. Did everyone JUST notice it is hard for parents?!!! But, MAYBE we’ll get some positive change before my boy moves from daycare to school and a new juggle begins!

An update on this is that we told him it wasn't properly fixed, and that we "need to go to Bunnings and get some tools first". So now he keeps crying and pointing to the TV and saying "BUNNNNNNINGS!"

We told our toddler the TV was broken again to reduce screen time after a trip away that had too much. This morning he found the remote we were hiding and managed to turn the TV on, then ecstatically shouted "I FIXED IT!" 😅

Man it is surprisingly hard to find books and toys that speak Te Reo Māori out loud with a button press similar. Tons of flash cards, but I want my kiddo to **hear** the words, without a phone or tablet involved. Give me an annoyingly loud toy!
