What has happened to the ‘Shining Beacon’ that we once claimed to be? We have a masked paramilitary force roaming our streets arresting, incarcerating, & deporting people without any due process. Many die in along the way & many, many more lives are destroyed. We’ve become what we once opposed.

My take from the Smith hearings: To be a GOP senator today, you have to be a lying piece-of-shit, who puts loyalty to party & our lying piece-of-shit president, above their oaths to the Constitution & their obligations to tell the truth & do what rights to the American people! Repost if U agree

The latest MAGA message is stop whining about prices, it’s worth it! If you buy this nonsense then what about: - record debt & record deficits - lawless killing by ICE on our streets & by our military in the Caribbean - disinterest in the threat of AI - unparalleled corruption Are they worth it?

We should use Trump’s SI to refer to stupid intelligence. His administration has perfected SI - some examples: tariffs are paid by the exporter, a purchase is a loss, Iran will not take control of the Strait. SI is MAGA and it is absolutely a massive threat.

Bonhoeffer, a German pastor who was executed by the Nazis for his opposition to them, developed a theory of stupidity. In trying to explain why people followed Hitler he argued that stupid people had given up thinking for themselves and outsourced it to a leader. MAGA and Trump explained.

As Trump wages economic war with the west, both Europe & Canada are rapidly decoupling from the USA. Just another way Trump is running us into the ground.

There are so many Nobel prizes Trump should win for his pioneering work in: - economics: reinventing purchase of goods as losses - peace: so effective he’s ended more wars than have been started - medicine: lowering drug prices by 600% - chemistry: have you seen what’s in his diaper?

33% of Americans approve of…. - having $40 trillion of debt - running massive deficits to fund nothing - losing a pointless war - unbridled corruption - a secret police - climate change - inflation - vanity projects - incompetence - rubbishing our allies - tariffs - concentrating wealth Why?

So Canada has decided to rip off Europe instead of USA. Surely the Stable Genius should be celebrating this?

Every day our great leader battles valiantly against all the damage Biden is doing to our country. From illegal wars to illegal tariffs to a secret police making illegal arrests & imprisonments, the fight never ends. Thank God for Trump!

TonyBenn @bebestbestupid.bsky.social · 16/09/2026
Look at the damage Biden has done in the last 18 months. Losing an illegal war, blowing the debt out, launching a secret police, alienating allies whilst cozying up to dictators, roiling the global economy etc. Who would’ve thought that sleepy Joe could do all this after losing the election?

TonyBenn @bebestbestupid.bsky.social · 16/09/2026
Key midterm message from GOP…..it’s taking longer than we expected to undo all of the problems created by Biden. In particular, the war we started, that Biden caused, is much more difficult because of Biden. But eggs are cheaper & this clearly shows we’re on the right track.

Our debt is $40 trillion, & it’s rising fast as we borrow at a record pace to maintain tax cuts for the wealthy. We are Trump’s seventh bankruptcy. But he personally has found his best gig, selling access to power in return for crypto.

TonyBenn @bebestbestupid.bsky.social · 14/09/2026
How must the Saudis feel this morning? All that crypto bribing & Trump abandons them at the first sign of trouble after a ‘big Houthi, tears in his eyes’ confirmed with the Dotard that they could run free in Yemen. As everyone discovers, Trump is available for purchase but the product is defective.

Trump actually chooses his cabinet members because they are Incompetent. This way they each know that their position (& the great grift they can pull in) is purely down to Trump. Is it any wonder everything is falling apart?

TonyBenn @bebestbestupid.bsky.social · 12/09/2026
Trump has bankrupted the Nation. Every month this year we have borrowed $155 billion & each month we pay $24 billion in interest. And ask yourself what is all this money is buying us? Improved healthcare, better infrastructure? No, it’s being wasted on a secret police force & a stupid war.

TonyBenn @bebestbestupid.bsky.social · 12/09/2026
Chevron and Exxon Mobil took $26 billion in profits last quarter. Trump’s war has created a massive windfall for oil companies. They are sticking it to us. The Executive Team will take home >$100 million each for their masterful gouging of the consumer. This is clearly not right.
000
TonyBenn @bebestbestupid.bsky.social · 10/09/2026
Don’t forget we have no money - our debt is $40 trillion. We’re running a massive budget deficit. If Trump wants to do a $1 trillion+ handout, he either borrows it from China or he steals it from soc security or Medicare. If the payout happens you lose financially &, of course, Trump is President!

TonyBenn @bebestbestupid.bsky.social · 07/09/2026
Remember DOGE? All that people carnage was about making the Govt more efficient? We’re now running record deficits with a debt > $40 trillion & growing. DOGE was not about saving money, it was about disabling regulatory bodies so Musk & the tech bros could run amok.

Whatever happened to the Board of Peace? We all had such high hopes that the World’s second tier of tin pot dictators, under the inspirational leadership of our very own crime boss, would bring peace to the planet.

BREAKING: The President has just resolved another war - this one between Fiji & Bulgaria. Both countries agreed to consider hostilities in exchange for lower tariffs. But Trump stepped in & all is calm. This is the forth time this week Trump has stopped a war (& that excludes the 3 deals with Iran).
000
TonyBenn @bebestbestupid.bsky.social · 06/09/2026
Trump & his band of incompetents view everything as a personal transaction - a ‘deal’. When Witkoff & Kushner go to Moscow they are there not to seek compromise between the warring parties but to find out what’s in it for them to put pressure on Ukraine - “what’s the deal Vlad”?
010
TonyBenn @bebestbestupid.bsky.social · 05/09/2026
Our debt is > $ 40 trillion. We are running record monthly deficits. So we must borrow money to service the debt & run the country. Few people want to buy our debt so we are buying it! We are effectively using a Visa card to pay off our Amex card. We’re on the road to a collapse.

TonyBenn @bebestbestupid.bsky.social · 05/09/2026
Last year, the ‘announced’ job numbers were eventually revised downwards 911,000. This administration lies about everything. Quite aside from being incompetent, it is totally corrupt.

TonyBenn @bebestbestupid.bsky.social · 05/09/2026
As the Iran war drags on it is worth remembering two things which British observers in the negotiating room noted just before Trump launched his war: 1. Our negotiators- Witkoff & Kushner - did not understand the issues. 2. An agreement was imminent. But Netanyahu stepped in & played Trump.

For Trump sacrifice is ‘small potatoes’. It’s what other people are for. The ‘big potatoes’ come in the form of stolen glory (borrowed Nobel prizes, arches etc) & grift (crypto bribes, jets, stock manipulation etc).

I have been very critical of Trump (and his buffoonish cabinet) but to be fair there are some reasons to vote for Trump. Here are just a few: - engage in goal-less wars (& lose them) - move the debt & deficit into unrecoverable territory - push inflation through the roof - scam billions

Trump is stunningly ignorant. His cabinet have been picked because they are stunningly incompetent. And the results everywhere are stunningly bad. But the worst has yet to come….Trump has bankrupted the country running record budget deficits. We are now on the brink of financial collapse.

Everything that Trump has done has been enabled by every Republican in the Congress. From the outrageous corruption to the foolish war to the use of a secret police to trample all of our rights. Every Republican has been involved & must be held to account in the mid terms.

It is Trump’s (admittedly stupid) belief that a trade deficit is evidence that we are being ripped off. Our deficit increased 25% from June to July. It must be Biden’s fault - he’s been very active lately.

Sunday morning so it’s time for Trump’s cabinet of fools to get on TV & remind us all how great things are going.

Take an idea to Trump & he will ask the following questions: 1. What’s my cut? 2. Will it piss off the libs? 3. Would Vlad approve? A yes to any one of these & the idea has legs. It’ll be fast tracked with 3 yes answers. Try it! Take any Trump initiative & run it through this screen.

A lot of people have been critical of Trump because he only has the time for the ball room, dealing crypto & renaming water. But they forget that these are issues that the folk struggling in rural America care about.

TonyBenn @bebestbestupid.bsky.social · 27/08/2026
DOGE callously fired people without any analysis of consequence. We were told it would save money. But the debt has skyrocketed & July saw the biggest ever budget deficit. It was not about efficiency, it was about dismantling Government. And now everything is failing.

33% of Americans approve of Trump? - he has bankrupted us (debt>GDP) - declared a goal-less & unending war - suspended due process - built a secret police - engaged in massive corruption - driven prices up - accelerated climate change And he has not enacted a single bill to improve anything

Did you know that Lockheed Martin’s contract with the Pentagon forbids the military from fixing any defective products. If it doesn’t work then pay us (through the nose) again & we’ll send someone out to take a look. Just another way our tax dollars make to the wealthy!
001
TonyBenn @bebestbestupid.bsky.social · 23/08/2026
Thank the Lord Trump is our President! In the last 18 months Biden has destroyed the economy, lost a war, suspended due process, cozied up to dictators whilst trashing allies, accelerated climate change & run the most corrupt administration in history. It’s time for Biden to go!

TonyBenn @bebestbestupid.bsky.social · 22/08/2026
Trump has done a lot in just 19 months. Some ‘highlights’: - bankrupted the nation - eliminated due process - corrupted every part of government - accelerated climate change - destroyed alliances - hid the Epstein files - delivered massive budget deficits And 33% approve of this.

Our National Debt is $40 trillion. It exceeds our GDP. We’re bankrupt. Almost 1/3 of this has been created by Trump. We’re his 7th bankruptcy. Think of just one major social or infrastructure program Trump has undertaken. None. It’s all gone on tax cuts for the wealthy & a plethora of foolishness

All we can conclude from Trump’s threat ‘to blow the shit out of Oman’ is that the Omanis have not bought enough crypto!

Why are people so worried about the rise of socialism? We already have it….but only for the wealthy. Whenever we run into trouble (dotcom bubble, housing crisis, covid) we bail the rich out. All we’re talking about is extending socialism to the rest of us.

We’re governed by the whim of Trump. Good ‘policy’ today can be become bad tomorrow. And whatever the whim, Squeaker Johnson & his senile cronies in the GOP will get right behind it - “it’s white, it’s black, it’s Biden, it’s communism”. Meanwhile our democracy is falling apart.

12 nights of bombing have achieved nothing. What’s next? Some kind of invasion? When you have historically incompetent leaders - Trump & Hegseth - expect historically terrible outcomes.

Today in the British Parliament, Trump was described as a “dangerous and corrupt gangster”. The rest of the world has known this for a long time but out of deference to USA power & standing it has been silent. Now our ex-Allies are speaking out. It’s time to impeach (& imprison) him.

The top 100 oil & gas companies are banking an extra $30 million/hr in profit from the Iran war. So the tax payer is paying through the nose for the utterly pointless war and then paying through the nose again for the consequences. And who gets the money? The polluters and the arms suppliers.

TonyBenn @bebestbestupid.bsky.social · 14/04/2026
Today we learn that when Kushner (fund manager) & Witkoff (real estate broker) led the prewar negotiations with Iran, they relied on the Omanis to translate what the Iranians were saying! Most observers in the room thought a deal was close but how would Jared & Steve have known?!!

When Trump says the Pope is ‘weak on crime’, what he means is that Leo isn’t doing much of it. Trump, on the hand, is strong on crime having recently added war crimes to his resume, which includes rape, fraud, sedition and tax evasion. Really strong!

The negotiation: Vance: we want it all Ghabilaf: so do we Vance: we have a madman in charge & don’t care about causing suffering Ghabilaf: we’re the same Vance: we’re stuck, but before we go would you like to invest in Jared’s fund? Ghabilaf: now you’re talking 21 hours later. All leave

Everything we’re seeing from Trump was predictable from the shameless corruption, the unrelenting attack on the truth to the breathtaking incompetence. All those who voted for him and are now surprised just weren’t paying attention. He has just interest = himself!
