Very happy I got to spend some time sunbathing in the Tiergarten this afternoon. There's a great #naturist space quite close to the Victory Column.

A naked white lying on his stomach on a towel on the grass.

A naked white man sitting on a towel on the grass, facing the viewer. He wears a string of blue beads around his neck.

#nakedcoffee on my back porch to start a Saturday. This is who I am — untidy, unwashed, full of ideas, vaguely anxious, overcaffeinated but fatigued. These bamboo blinds provide at least the illusion of privacy, and I love how I've made this space an oasis since the pandemic started.

"I found it more comfortable, when actually frying, to be stark naked." — Noel Coward, writing to a friend about living in NYC during a #heatwave in summer, 1921. After posting this on another platform, I discovered a couple friends who I didn't know were #naturists. Surprise! #quoteoftheday

This will be of importance to New England #naturists, the rise of tick-borne illnesses. How we hike, or even lounge around on our lawns, could become very different. www.bostonglobe.com/2026/06/24/m...

All this time I've allowed myself to think my bamboo blinds completely screen my back porch nudity from my neighbors. But the neighbor lady just waved at me after I sat down on the sofa . . . so perhaps I've been exposed all this time after all . . . 😬

Memorial Day started out gray and chilly, but it warmed up enough for a #nakedcocktail hour, thank goodness.
