I wrote about how I use AI with Obsidian without letting it take over my notes. The core idea: every AI run should leave a visible diff, an audit trail, and a clear point where I decide whether I trust the result. beaussan.io/blog/ai-obsi...

I know I'm pretty late to the obsidian <> ai stuff, but after more than 3k notes, I didn't wanted an ai going loose in my vault. But I now have a pretty nice setup that manually sync, snapshot before and after the ai work, and it's been quite helpful! All built by opencode sdk
Screenshot of a dark purple dashboard titled ‘Beaussan Ops, OpenCode vault crons’ showing the Runs page. A banner says runs execute one at a time while snapshot file reads can happen up to 16 at once. The main table lists recent Obsidian vault automation runs, all marked succeeded, with tasks like generating Readwise notes, refining MOCs, and processing AI migration clusters.

It's not perfect as in tsgo will complain about things tsc says it's OK, but it's not a lot of cases so when tsgo is usable within vs code, we will probably switch to tsgo fully
