I don't care about the Caleb/Bears pre-draft "beef" It's old news. I said then he'll get over it. He'll either sink or swim, talent overcomes. Poles said, "Suck it up buttercup, you're a Bear." Now, Caleb has the sway he needs, got his HC and all is well.

While I'm a fan of Big Ticket, he's not a fit. There is enough money invested at guard now that Jackson and Thuney are Bears. There is absolutely still room for depth signings and/or draft picks to bolster the position.

Daniel Jeremiah has the Bears targeting Tyler Booker. He's a guard, so some people might be up and arms against it, but look at Detroit — they targeted top players at massive need positions "early" in the draft and it lead to success. Bears need starters. Don't get cute, draft the sure thing.

Another player I wouldn't mind Poles targeting from Detroit is Tim Patrick. If Keenan Allen prices himself out of Chicago, Patrick would be a solid alternative. Considering Rome is due a larger role in 2025, and beyond, & the *potential* of utilizing DJ in the slot like Amon-Ra, KA might be out.

Random thought… Whatever Offensive Play-calling Head Coach the Bears hire, they need to hire Luke Butkus as OC to have a top OL coach on staff. GB have Stenavich as the OC & quasi-OL coach -whom they blocked #DaBears from hiring as their OL coach, so why not try to steal their OL coach again? 🤷‍♂️

My bold offseason prediction for the Bears: their HC will *not* be Ben Johnson. There are a number of qualified, *quality* candidates this offseason to select from, I hope Ryan Poles selects one of those guys. Just as important as finding a good HC, we *need* to find a coach who can develop OL.

The offense still had its miscues at the end if the game, but did well enough to steal a win back from the grips of defeat. Likely would have lost vs a full strength Packers O, but they didn't get bullied this time. I agree about Lovie, but Brown has good qualities. I can see success in his future
