Iran deserved way better than this. Not just incessant maltreatment and discrimination from tournament and racist policies, but the lack of respect they got was unbearable. And they gave everything. Persians are resilient and this will only fuel their fire. #TeamMelli

One of the best to ever do it! Jan truly found her calling by starting a program in which she could showcase the intellectual fortitude that matched her physical fortitude - inspiring many (including myself) along the way. I couldn’t have asked for a better leader of my doctoral program at UT!

Some of my favorite games have “state-of-the-art” graphics - RDR2 is one of those. However, graphics can’t overcome lazy/underdeveloped storytelling, which is why some newer titles suffer. My backlog is approaching 100 games, most of them older… I will always prioritize a good story over graphics.

Appreciate being included on this list with so many amazing scholars! For those who followed me, hello! In addition to teaching sport management, I’m also the director for Sacred Heart U’s Club Esports team. I mostly lurk, but occasionally post thoughts on sport diplomacy, esports, and video games.

Was going to come here to say this too - my friends and I would get super competitive playing Fortune Street. Mario/DQ was an interesting crossover!

Just finished up at one of my favorite conferences - CSSOR! Many thanks to the faculty and staff at CSUF, as well as the excellent presenters (and new colleagues!) for making it a memorable experience.
