I skimmed through the new Taylor songs. Could have been a meh EP. Whoever told her "Patient Zero" was a smart name for a song was gravely mistaken. Do people have to be a certain age to know the connotation of the moniker? If you don't know to what I'm referring, look up the name Gaetan Dugas.

Absolutely livid at my employer. We were notified today that the mileage reimbursement rate will be going up effective yesterday by four cents per mile. We already work at a sub-IRS rate which was last updated to 48 cents six years ago. IRS is 76 now. The bump is woefully behind six years' inflation

I don’t wish my plantar fasciitis on anyone. Jobs at retail stores with glossy cement floors are my biggest challenge as the soreness gets exponentially worse after roughly seven hours nonstop on my feet, even with support insoles.

I haven't used a trackball for decades but decided to give one a try for the right price. The feel on this one is good, but I'm still slightly struggling on pointer finesse to hit buttons or drag sliders. Adjusting DPI settings appears to be helping.

I opened Photos on my MBA to a message it was trying to recover my library. I was able to close out and try to repair it instead, but the repair has been going on for roughly three hours stuck at 98%. I'm wondering if I should instead replace it with my Time Machine backup from 1-2 days ago.

I wish I could live in the part of Illinois where going north into Wisconsin allows me to visit places like Milwaukee. Instead, I'm on the side of the state where going north into Wisconsin gets me to places like Platteville. Both are fine places but the vibes are a bit different.
