Uma Musume: Pretty Derby - Beginning of a New Era (2024) This legit felt like an actual fever dream cause the premise is absolute bonkers but not only is it done earnestly it's also done extremely fucking well in all aspects like they did NOT need to go this hard 😭😭

London (AD 47) That was a fun trip but I am aware I pretty much just got the Tourist experience (only had 2 days after all) If I were to live here I'd probably get depressed in like a week lol

London Eye (2000) That was so fucking mid LMAO, actual tourist trap I only went to cause the rest of my family wanted to The queue was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting but still the view from the cathedral was much much better. Time would've been better spent literally anywhere else

St Paul's Cathedral (1697) I'm not all that religious nowadays (if at all) but still just admiring the artistic component of the cathedral was still great. Such a pretty building The view on top was really awesome too :)

Natural History Museum (1881) Lots of fun!! The way its structured makes it really easy to just get lost in the exhibits and lose an entire day on it. Great stuff

Tower of London (1078) The exhibits were very cool and I rly liked to see the Ravens :) The Royal Treasury and jewerly was very pretty but it also made me sick thinking abt the implications™️

Dr Pepper (1885) Probably one of the most unique flavors I've ever experienced in my life. I drank quite a bit of it through out the London trip and never got tired of it Would probably drink it more if it was easy to get here in Portugal 😭

.hack//Infection (2002) Saving my full thoughts for the end of the series but I'll say this was an really great start! Full of intriguing set up that's just leaving me wondering where it's going to go next. Definitely playing the rest now!

VN pick: Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni (and Kai as well) not really a game but i dont really care, still my favorite story of all time in anything ever Umineko also def deserves a mention but my feelings on that one are far more complicated nowadays lol

Nostalgia pick: LittleBigPlanet 2 replayed the campaign not too long ago and by god does it hold up, gen one of the best 2d platformers of all time even excluding the entire create part the series is most well known for (which was still one of the coolest things to be done ever)

ig another fairly obvious one is Metal Gear Solid 2 i've played it like a year and a half ago and it still feels like i did it yesterday, god what a game literally finished it in 2 days, basically only stopped to eat and sleep LMAO

I should've thought this out before i posted it for starters, I guess we could do a Yakuza game I like all of them, but ig for this thread i'll post Yakuza: Like a Dragon def suffers a bit in the gameplay department, but its story really spoke to me, i love Ichiban so so much

Silent Hill 2 (2024) The biggest surprise of the year for me. While not as good as the original it still stands on its own as a great horror title that i would def recommend IF you already played the original (I hope that Konami rereleases it at some point) Curious to see what Bloober does next
