Between the homophobia in our racial group and the racism in LGBT+ groups, it was so hard to find community both in person and online. This song really encapsulates it

Today’s album is Montero by Lil Nas X. Released right on the cusp of summer and fall, this album feels like a transition. It starts upbeat but slows and gets EXTREMELY emotional. While songs CMBYN and Industry Baby that were used as singles, it’s the gems towards the end that really makes this album
