Day 2 started with a powerful lecture from Prof. Lewis R. Gordon (UConn) on “Critical Reflections on Freedom, Justice, and Decolonization.” Prof. FD Ferreira (LSE) gave the Amartya Sen Lecture on “Inherited Inequality, Meritocracy and Public Policy" about what inequality means for policy today.

To promote peace effectively, you need strong, soft skills, which we often teach through extra-curricular training. This week, we offered students a special session on facilitation skills. Students learned about preparation, key facilitator tools, active listening, energisers and checkin exercises.
