We recently tried Robinson‘s Crusoe again, the introductory campaign. Even in there the difficulty varies wildly and it can get very challenging – also depending on luck somewhat.

Played Root this weekend. 2 Player Woodland Alliance and Lizards + mechanical cats and electric birds. My daughter's Woodland Alliance ran away with the win, bots were helpful. Played Twilight Struggle today. I played the USSR and won T5. We Will Bury You, but then countered with Duck and Cover to survive. Then Arms Race and the US was done. USSR scored big on SE Asia. US needed to score Asia later this turn and that would’ve been bad for them. #bggplay #boardgames

Disaster! Honecker not able to afford massively increased living standards, running down all industry, making living standards unsustainable. The country collapsed like a hollow pie shell at the end of the 1970s. At least the Bavarians stayed consistently unhappy. Victory to the BRD. #boardgames

Made it through the 1960s as well. The people in Sachsen-Anhalt are very unhappy and Bavaria has a gripe as well. East Germany managed to fund their increased living standards almost successfully and did not built the Berlin wall. #boardgames
