When it rains, it pours. But why is this saying always negative? Why does it never pour good things? Psychologically, we are more prone to notice the bad things. So when I have a crapy week, I like to force myself to list the positive or neutral things that are NOT going wrong. #psycology

Negativity bias is a cognitive fallacy that, even when positive or nutal things occur in equal intensity, things of a more negative nature have a great effect on our psychological state.

#tiktok was the best thing for indie authors, bookstores, small presses, and freelance editors. Tiktok gave me the connections, information, and confidence to self publish. I connected with the editors that I then hired. No other platform gives me the reach that TT does. I am not even on TT shop.
