At the USA’s UPR Pre-session 🇺🇳 the UN’s OHCHR advised that the USA will not be engaging with its upcoming Universal Periodic Review due to take place on 7th November 2025. This could have catastrophic consequences for the future of the UPR and we would encourage everyone to sign our Joint Statement⬇️

2024 was a fantastic awards year 👏 @mybcu.bsky.social #IamBCU Awards, Centre Director Prof Yorke won Researcher of the Year, Dr Lily Hamourtziadou (Inspirational Teacher), LLB student Korya Xhignesse (Student Rep). Prof Yorke was also given a Lifetime Achievement award by Amicus at the Old Bailey 😀
