It's me, I'm game researchers! I talked about a chapter for the book I'm definitely writing, focused on how engaging with VR games (as represented in recent Chinese dramas) is framed as transgression

First paper of our Transgressive Identities and Subjectivities conference #TIS25 and we are already transgressing standard presentation styles - Reuben Mount co-presents their paper with their fursona @vanguardhusky.bsky.social (pictured on screen, and talking to the room) @bcmcr.bsky.social

Reuben Mount is sitting on the edge of a white cabinet in a classroom or conference room. He is holding a cup and wearing a lanyard with a name badge. Behind him, a large screen displays a slide that reads "Q2: How does VRChat interplay with this?" alongside a cartoon drawing of a humanoid husky character - his fursona, Vanguard. The background of the slide features stylized figures of people in muted colors. The room has a modern design with a whiteboard and papers on the wall.
