The Prospect book cover, an astronaut flaoting in space with a cracked visor leaking viscera, displayed on an e-reader with a list of quotes from reviews.
"A Compelling story of friendship, sacrifice and the lengths,
honourable and selfish, everyone will employ to survive." Amazon Review: Tolkien Trekkie
This story has plenty of horror, gore, sci-fi twists, and heart,
and it is one that you won’t be able to put down.
Sci-fi/horror fans, this one is for you. Goodreads User: Kim Layman

I'm always on the hunt for the next Space Horror. The Prospect
surpassed my expectations. Goodreads User: Jason M
In the afterword, the author says how he was looking to write
something "fun, and pulpy. A little trashy, fun monsters,
a bit of gore and body horror" and, man, does he deliver. Goodreads User: Elisa

Here in the UK they just have the prices up on the Nintendo website! Have done since the announcement last week. If it isn't there on the US version of the site maybe they're not putting it out at all because they don't know what they're doing about the tariffs yet?

A few weeks ago I decided to finally cut my use of Amazon completely. I've felt like I should for a while but the convenience of it was holding me back. Since though, I've been a bit uncertain what to do about The Prospect (and any upcoming books...)

The Vaughn drifted slowly through scattered chunks
of what used to be a planet. Rocks as large as cities drifting
amongst clouds of dust and debris.
Mining drones converged on the ship like bees bringing
nectar to the hive. One other planet orbited within the same
system, a cool blue star at the centre. A shimmering net of
light surrounded the planet, emanating from a competitor
ship. The other ship had arrived long before The Vaughn,
staking claim to the planets, and the resources within. Now
The Vaughn filtered through the remnants, scavenging for
crumbs in the wake of another’s feast. Waves of cobalt light
illuminated the debris field, tinting the ship a cold, empty
blue, despite the thrum of life within. The ship’s body was
circular, a thin Outer-Ring surrounding a domed interior. A
bulbous lump protruded from the Outer-Ring, like the head
of a turtle tentatively peeking from its shell. It was within the
head, in a secluded office that a secretive meeting took place,
away from prying eyes and far removed from the thousands

The Mayor’s palms left streaks of sweat on the desk’s
wooden veneer as they fretted. The room had no windows, a -

I worried the Freedom Wars remaster would suffer from its old handheld origins, but Ive been having a great time with it! I dont know how much that is down to the remake touching things up and making it smoother, but I presume a fair bit. Heres my obnoxiously colourful Sinner and her goth robot wife

We don't need enneagram or personality type tests any more. I've designed the only test we'll ever need.

Two images of a pigeon eating a pile of croutons. In one a figure is walking towards the pigeon with a line pointing directly through the it, indicating the figure will walk over the pigeon. In the second, the line diverts around the pigeon, indicating the walking figure has altered it's path to avoid disturbing the pigeon.

There's a real trend of people comparing models to the game characters based on them and screaming "THEY MADE HER LOOK UGLIER!" Then the photo is always a professional studio photoshoot, and the screenshot of the in-game woman just, existing.

I really want to know who on the Starfield dev team decided that the one puzzle you have to repeat countless times in temples should be the most tedious, basic, unimaginative piece of garbage in the game. They nailed the lockpicking so hard they had to sacrifice the tempes I guess?
