Jesus. Any idea what kind of doctor he is? We haven't had an airborne infection in the last 6 years despite a lack of masking from physicians in transplant, oncology and ER. And yeah, constantly litigating for basic safety has an impact on trust.

There's now chatter that they're trying to limit who gets Nuvaxovid - and that if you don't pass some arbitrary assessment done by a nurse you have to pay. Hopefully it's like the way you had to qualify for a flu shot in the past - it wasn't hard to find a box to check.

Indeed! They're doing Nuvaxovid only - so we still have to book flu shots separately. I'm fighting with the online booking system, so have a callback (hopefully) booked to get that done. Then they wonder why uptake is insufficient.

Hi Anne. I just got off the phone with Victoria Health Unit (I spoke with Emily). They're fully booked for Nuvaxovid and put me through to Saanich (250-519-5100) where I got 2 spots for October 27. Apparently Esquimault also has spots left. Once the 10 doses per spot are gone, 'they're gone'.

Are you joking? We are invisible to physicians and nurses practitioners. Women's problems are due to our weight and anxiety. Even taking my husband to mansplain I was suicidal didn't result in any substantive help. I'm now past the 10 year window for HRT, so tough for me.

It sounds like we're living the dream here in BC. I had a long, circular convo with the provincial vaccination booking line who directed me to Victoria Public Health. Had to explain what Nuvaxovid is and why we'd want it. Told to check next week...then they called *me* back! Available next week!

They do. It's still developing, but pretty good. They have a calendar and video meeting platform. If you get one of the paid subscriptions you can add a booking calendar function to the calendar. I replaced Calendly and Brave Talk - two US based services.
