Wish they used this on tour as the band intro music …. Would have been hilarious.

No we don't... but a couple of things intrigued me. - Spot defense on bigger guards like Cade, Harper and Castle. He was a smothering defender....maybe again in short spurts. - Can be the 5 in a motion offense but from the post not the key like KAT because he can't shoot a lick. Good luck Kings.

4 at $240M. Will be $32M short of his max. Keeps him about where he is in % to the cap. He's not leaving for $32M when he can easily make that back playing in NY. Think something similar will happen with the rest except JB who will get a big bump but less than the Supermax level .

Unless LeBron can magically guard and stop Brunson I ain't concerned.

Yeah Kayil looks pretty smooth. Diawara the only concern. Was hoping Robbins might show enough for 3rd string but not yet.

Jalen Brunson doesn’t need to do another goddamn thing. But he will….

Scotty Hoop Shots 🧡🏀💙🇺🇸🇺🇦🇨🇦 @bbwave2024.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

Yeah for the Vet min it’s about as good as we were going to get. Big downgrade defensively but screening, offensive rebounds, man D on bigs , occasional 3 can be effective. Makes 60% of his FTs. Enough that he won’t just be hacked all the time.

Morning Knick fans … Sucks losing Mitch but just imagine if your team traded Jalen Brunson for the Paul George plus picks package. Madison Square Garden would be burned to the ground

Sure but if Missi comes he's a 15 mpg back up anyway. Think it's moot and Mitch is staying.

My gut says Deuce and Dadiet are gone to open up a little more $ and then Leon beats Dolan over the head with a lead apron to go $10M over to re-sign Mitch. $10M over can be addressed next year restructuring some new contracts.

A Mitch S&T that includes Yves Missi sends Mitch home to Louisiana.

Scotty Hoop Shots 🧡🏀💙🇺🇸🇺🇦🇨🇦 @bbwave2024.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

It’s going to be Deuce. He needs to get paid and it’s not going to be here. Deuce and Dadiet open up $7M.

000

Scotty Hoop Shots 🧡🏀💙🇺🇸🇺🇦🇨🇦 @bbwave2024.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

Its very little gained up front. Maybe $100-$200K. Incraeses are capped at 8% . So something like : $4.3 $4.6 $5.1 Thats $14M... if the total is closer to $15 then they saved nothing. Except it means Deuce is likely gone. If Dadiet goes also and just for picks back that will open another $7M.

You still have Huk and Clarkson in there. Wouldn't assume that. Gets another $5M out to start Mitch at $14M which is more relalistic and plug Jose in at the end below the apron.

So they exercised this $3M back in October and it was just announced yesterday?

100

Scotty Hoop Shots 🧡🏀💙🇺🇸🇺🇦🇨🇦 @bbwave2024.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

Anyone want to guess or have a good theory why the Knicks exercised their $3M option on Pacome Dadiet vs freeing up those $?

Think they're just stockpiling picks to buy into the first round next year when they don't have a pick. Try to sign our guys below the 2nd apron and keep flexibility to do something at the trade deadline if needed.

000

Scotty Hoop Shots 🧡🏀💙🇺🇸🇺🇦🇨🇦 @bbwave2024.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

Not sure if the goal is a player this year or just stockpile assets to be able to trade into next years first round where we don't have a pick.

Probably. Its why they sold Cablevision. He's actually hired some really smart people to run MSG Corp... thankfully.

Can never know but unlikely. Don't want to underestimate how tough Castle and Harper are. Brunson is much more bulldog than Harden and I think those 2 get him off the ball more than they did with JB.

000

Scotty Hoop Shots 🧡🏀💙🇺🇸🇺🇦🇨🇦 @bbwave2024.bsky.social · 16/06/2026

Yeah..he only has 4 seasons as a starter. Longevity does matter and has to get another 4-5 years to fairly compare body of work. I know who I'm picking at peak to win one game though. That's not particularly close. A bad Harden game is really bad. A bad JB game still gets you 30 with low FG%.

Glad to see OG near top 20. They really have a Big 3 now that all should be All NBA players next year.
