My suggestion is try to cut the question text files way down and see if it runs better. We were able to test on a dos machine and it ran as expected. I’m thinking if it’s an older machine I did push it to make sure there were enough questions for no repeats for five years.

Ah good test thank you. The processing is a bit intense to get all the matching done and process such a large question bank. I might have to do a dos branch that’s not as good at both for that reason. I only have dosbox to test with.

The main part of this update is you should now see a frames setting in your .cfg file. 10 frames a day is daunting so maybe 3-4 works for you. The high scores table will automatically adjust.

I actually just did some quality control on that file there were a few other places it’s messed up on. If you re-download the msdos version you can use the new QC’d allwords.txt and shouldn’t have any issues moving forward. Thanks!

Did you try typing PENNE at some point I guess and it was rejected? You can add it to your ALLWORDS.TXT or remove PENNE from WORDS.TXT if that’s the case. I’ll check on the server downloads too.
