God witnesses all. Nothing is hidden from Him. May you desire never ending service opportunities, and to never forget God under any circumstances. May you see the presence of God in all, and treat each other as such, with humility for our position. Wishing reflection and peace for all today.

I believe in the integrity of US military personnel. They’re not voiceless or mindless. They’re each using their life and time for the service of their fellow countrymen. If you’re willing to risk your life for me, without knowing me, I want you to know that I support you. I believe in your honor.

Fireflies in Michigan. Made with my Fujifilm X-T4.

A composite image showing hundreds of fireflies illuminating the night sky and black silhouetted trees. Stars leave long trails of white in the sky.

3. Bhūmi assumed the shape of a cow and presented herself before Lord Brahmā with tears in her eyes. She was bereaved and was weeping just to invoke the lord’s compassion.

2. At that time, the whole world became perturbed, and the predominating deity of this earth, known as Bhūmi, went to see Lord Brahmā to tell of her calamities due to the demoniac kings.

For Earth Day 1. Once the world was overburdened by the unnecessary defense force of different kings, who were actually demons but were posing themselves as the royal order.

I am sad that tomorrow we will live in a world that does not have Pope Francis in it. He was a champion of God’s creation, and of treating everyone in it as such.

5. And then she just thought to herself, I have such a wonderful and special son. Krishna is like that, He wants nothing more than to play in a loving relationship with His devotees. That is the personality of God, the original supreme person. To be all loving, full of charm, and bliss.

4. How can this be? She thought. How can all of creation fit inside my son’s mouth? And while she was feeling overwhelmed like this, Krishna again pulled His veil of Yogamaya, His veil of forgetfulness over His mother. So he could again enjoy playing with her as mother and child.

3. But when she looked inside she was astonished. Within her child’s mouth she saw all of creation. All of the many different universes and planets. All the different animals and people. She even saw herself looking into the mouth of little Krishna inside Krishna’s mouth.

2. Krishna said No, Balarama and the older boys were telling lies about Him. And that if she didn’t believe Him, He would open His mouth for His mother and show her. And so when she asked, Krishna opened His mouth wide for His mother.

1. Once Lord Balarama, Krishna’s older brother, went to Mother Yashoda and said Krishna had eaten dirt. Krishna is God in the Vaishnava tradition, but He loves to play with His devotees. And so though He is God of everything, He was plays like a small child for His mother, Mother Yashoda.

“To often we judge other groups by their worst examples while judging ourselves by our best intentions. Forgetting the image of God that we should see in each other […] To renew our country, we only need to remember our values.” George W. Bush on the state of our country in 2025, C-Span

4. With His disc, His sudarshan chakra, He beheaded the crocodile, saved Gajendra, and liberated the souls of both. I’ve been thinking of this story more lately.

3. He offered it to God, asking for God to save him, if He so desired, because he could not save himself. And God, called Lord Vishnu in the Vaishnava tradition, heard him. He arrived on the back of His golden Eagle Carrier, Garuda.

2. Gajendra fought the crocodile valiantly for 1000 years until his strength waned too, and the crocodile sensing this became stronger still. Knowing he could not save himself, Gajendra reached down to the water with his trunk and picked up a lotus flower. And held it up into the air.

1. Gajendra, the great king of the elephants was bit on the foot by a crocodile while sporting in the water with his family one day, the way elephants do. His family tried to rescue him, but could not and so eventually had to watch on helplessly.

#meded around? Everyone should go watch Cory Booker. He’s in never ending rounds despite being the post call staff but he’s absolutely killing it.
