KIMMY (cont.)
Yea, the pay is 'competitive', yet I've been struggling to afford literally anything. It's always 'just enough'.
Yanno, when you got those awful new machines you told me §30k is a "drop in the bucket" for this store. So an extra §2k in my picket each month would be lovely, 'ta very much!
And don't tell me you "can't"
BUX
... We can't...
KIMMY
Won't.
BUX
That's just not how things are done, Kimmy
KIMMY
Yeah, but why NOT?!
BUX
We can't just change how things work.
KIMMY
You own the place!
You own a THOUSAND of these places!
Yer name's above the bloody door!
YOU CAN MAKE IT WORK LIKE THAT!!
