Drawing Emmrich adoring and pathetic WILL cure my art block and remind me how to draw for myself again. #emmrook #emmrichvolkarin

Sketch of Emmrich volkarin kneeling pathetically and looking up adoringly at a female rook. She has a smile on her face while cupping his cheek.

Challenged myself with some perspective and multiple character work!! Wanted to keep it simple to not overwhelm me and literally finished it on the plane to katsucon!! I had so much fun. I'm for sure going to try to refine it with more time but I'm determined to make this year an improvement year!

The timing of this post that showed up on my tumblr feed is impeccable.

Screenshot from tumblr of an anonymous ask to 3amsoda: anon- how do you improve at art so fast? 3amsoda answered with a screenshot from farfinfarfin on twitter - the fastest way to improve your art is to become some sort of pervert, it doesn’t really matter kind, whatever you’re comfortable with.
