Dusky Track - Day 1. Considered as the hardest hike in New Zealand, the 84-km Dusky track traverses 3 Valleys in the remote Fiordland National Park. Four hours, and barely more than halfway to Halfway Hut, we navigate through the muddy section that runs parallel to the Hauroko Burn.
