Ben @bbenwashere.bsky.social · 6hSmall photo study to get back into drawing. Had to skip a few days due to hand pain. 0150
Ben @bbenwashere.bsky.social · 02/10/2026I don’t know much about Warhammer, but I thought it’d be fun to learn drawing a new creature, so here’s some skaven. 2375
Ben @bbenwashere.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Take these studies with a grain of salt, because I do make a lot of errors (hence why I keep doing more), but I'm really glad if you find it useful! :) 110
Ben @bbenwashere.bsky.social · 26/09/2026It’s based on this photo I grabbed off of Pinterest. As you can see the face is not very I accurate, I was more focused on the pose. 110
Ben @bbenwashere.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Sucking in your stomach so deep looks uncomfortable to me, but it's a fairly popular pose/exercise, so it's clearly not the case. 110
Ben @bbenwashere.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Small shading practice thing. This pose always looked painful to me, but it should be very safe when performed correctly. 2250
Ben @bbenwashere.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Meant to be a quick warmup thing, but I got carried away. 119113
Ben @bbenwashere.bsky.social · 15/09/2026I’m starting to really enjoy doodling, getting less reliant on reference too. Now if only I could incorporate shading into the process. 1406
Ben @bbenwashere.bsky.social · 14/09/2026I've been told he's like an arms dealer or something, but I can see where you're coming from.static.klipy.comPeter Falk as Columbo: Detective ThinkingALT: Peter Falk as Columbo: Detective Thinking 010
Ben @bbenwashere.bsky.social · 02/09/2026Can't promise a full blown tutorial, but I'll definitely do some studies/breakdowns for feline head shapes soon! 010
Ben @bbenwashere.bsky.social · 29/08/2026Monthly attempt to put the studies to use and doodle something without reference. You can always tell by the fuzzy lines. 1424
Ben @bbenwashere.bsky.social · 28/08/2026Maybe I should've put a disclaimer on the original post. There's no "correct" way to draw moos, it's just an observation from someone who seeks realism. Lot of people prefer the anatomically incorrect one, and that's totally fine, too! Stylization is a thing, but in my case it was not the intention. 040
Ben @bbenwashere.bsky.social · 27/08/2026In my eyes yes, but surprisingly a lot people prefer the one the left. My guess is because it's a bit more canine looking with the flat elongated head. 060
Ben @bbenwashere.bsky.social · 27/08/2026I use basic Procreate brushes, mostly Huntsman. Honestly, digital brushes are so good these days that it's surprisngly easy to make it look traditional as long as you draw in a traditional way and don't touch most of the other tools. 110
Ben @bbenwashere.bsky.social · 27/08/2026Apearently it's a common mistake, haha! Reassuring to know, ngl. Also I looove seeing old Cypress art, your commitment to perfect his design is so inspirational! 130
Ben @bbenwashere.bsky.social · 27/08/2026Consistent error I noticed in the way I draw bovine heads is that I flatten the forehead and tuck the horns behind the ears, so here’s a little note to myself. 654471
Ben @bbenwashere.bsky.social · 27/08/2026New goal is to always put some shading on my sketches. I need that practice badly. 044031
Ben @bbenwashere.bsky.social · 21/08/2026I saw a study on Pinterest likening the deltoid to a crab and, yeah, that makes total sense to me for some reason. 0222
Ben @bbenwashere.bsky.social · 20/08/2026I'm afraid I'm not quite there yet, but I appreciate the compliment! I started almost 4 years ago, mostly by reading books and copying photos. 000
Ben @bbenwashere.bsky.social · 17/08/2026Drawing backs is really not easy, but I think I’m slooowly getting the basics memorized. 0131
