The 🇬🇧 British government is threatening to build Small Modular Nuclear Reactors in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Scotland, despite opposition from our Government. We don't need them and they produce more waste than even conventional nuclear plants. Their electricity is expensive and they'll take years to come on stream.

The BBC make it clear in the questioner's language that it sees the First Ministers of Scotland Wales and NI as a "threat" to "their" UK. The English establishment sees self determination as only existing in England, it would appear.
