Pieces of the Bayeux Tapestry stolen by a Nazi scientist during the occupation of France were recently returned. The small fragments were presented to the mayor of Bayeux on January 15.

The Bayeux Tapestry is located at the Bayeux Museum in Normandy. The tapestry will be displayed at The British Museum September 2026 to July 2027.
