It's dead to me. Sadly, I have met so many wonderful people IRL that are still dear friends to this day. It's a shadow of its former self. I'm flying interstate on Friday to catch up with a few of those very Twitter friends for the weekend. So excited.

After learning of a friend's passing last week, I'm struggling a bit to process everything and deal with it. We weren't super close, but he lived at my place for a short period while getting himself sorted. He was a good friend. I have sadness.

Yes. It's a 52km round trip to the yacht club. Public transport is not a practical option, Uber / taxi is over $120 return - so I keep my car.

I've driven my car a total of 425km since 1 July. That explains why I've only purchased gasoline once in August. Living in the CBD saves me a fortune. I should sell my car.

I'm planning on a road trip away at the end of the year. It is nice to have something to plan and look forward to. Nearly 1000km each way. Thinking of hiring a car and not using mine.
