As a non US citizen, you should stop seeing it as Democrats taking back control. More like, US Citizens deciding that through the democratic process, the Constitution is important and that "we the people" is an immutable truth.

Sadly, swathes of Scotland have been practically sterilised to make way for grouse moors and estates devoted to deer. The cliche of Scotland's beautiful scenery would be better viewed if nature was allowed back into those barren glens.
