I dont think a physically disabled person needs image generation to realize their rendering for a painting. They will have to learn how to draw and move across their medium like others have.

Them being able to just look at something in their cupboard and ask their wearable to read it or write it down on their grocery list sounds great to me. But i dont think a blind person needs an AI chatbot to be their writing or music instructor. They need a compassionate human at their side.

I will say however AI does have some genuine use for the disabled. For one example i feel devices similar to the meta smart glasses would be beneficial as a strictly prescribed product for the visually impaired. Or improvements to screen readers that can more accurately read text off an image.

Like.. Mathematically impossible due to how this shit works. Anything you "make" with this technology is wholly plaigiarism. It doesn't even matter if the trained dataset is entirely 0C. You will only get the machine to produce work based on the work it has seen and nothing more. Worth it?

The baseline idea people grapple on to is you're saying that a given disabled person would be incapable of making any kind of art they would want to without AI. Obviously theres more nuance but in the end AI generation is a wholly useless to humanity and is impossible to derive originality from.

Honestly not sure why there is still discussion about how AI generation is useful to disabled people who want to create art. Disabled people have always been able to learn, grow, create art, and more. What makes those things happen is the disabled person being treated like a human and having tools

But the pharmacy won’t fill it cause the submitted script usage instructions said one a day! My provider called them multiple times to approve the fill, never calling us back saying that they were denying the fill. I can only do shit about this in the afternoon after work and my meds have worn off.
