Starting off with home made paper and cardboard terrain, and stealing 'buildings' and objectives out of the kitchen cupboards is something many of us tabletop gamers have nostalgia for. rebecca61.bsky.social shared this upgrade from cardboard to prints with this cute lil bridge.

It's a little known fact that when using the advanced weather rules and especially wind in Battletech, it is customary to comment "It fucken wimdy" before applying the appropriate modifiers, as demonstrated by the Fox Patrol below.

As I wind down for the night, I'm going to leave you all with my favourite piece of John Blanche's art:

John Blanche's famous sister of battle art. It shows a gothic, cyberpunk, and heavily adorned white haired woman against a background of fire, crowds of odd looking priests and ecclesiastical people, and women dressed akin to her firing at an unseen enemy

Unknown Comstar Lore: While documentation promised us that this lostech fuel would “give us wings,” it did not, unfortunately, result in any improvement to mech jump jets.

Additional unknown Comstar lore: We once tested a mech scale hammer as a melee weapon, using a mech scale squeaky hammer to train our pilots. This idea was abandoned when the squeaking gave away our secret training program. We had to kill SO many witnesses to cover that up!
