Met this stylish caterpillar (Calliteara pudibunda) today. It'll turn into a cute fluffy moth that sits with its front legs stretched out if it survives until next spring.

Slightly blurry photo of a green caterpillar with black stripes, white "bristles" that stick out on the sides and top and look like brushes and a long red "brush" on its end.

Picture from Wikipedia showing a brown and grey moth on a white wall with a fluffy body and very hairy legs.

Almost finished embroidery of a cartoony, sad looking may bug.

finished remade embroidery of the may bug, now with a darker grey face and a partially different stitch type for the body.

Browsing art online is so overwhelming, because it's almost like your brain interprets everything you see online like it was made by one big entity that knows how to draw and render everything. And you look at all those pieces, and you see everything you can't draw and render.
