THIS! I actually woke up in the middle of my first one and started gabbing with the doctor. I was so drugged up I didn't feel a thing but just watched the monitor. He was great about it and explained what he was doing while the anaesthesiologist drugged me more and I passed right back out.

Chicago here: my street was made 1 way to direct traffic out because people were going 40+ mph down it as a cut-through. Normal NIMBYs raged about other strts. getting packed (including bringing in fire dept to scare us about response times).

...and this was my issue with the James Brown biopic. I always knew he was abusive, but it wasn't until reading Stuart Cosgrove's "Harlem '69" that I got a sense of how horrible a person he truly was.

It's worth a watch for Cheadle's acting alone. And he does make a serious effort to portray Davis as combative and abusive as he was (definite trigger warning on this movie). But just like it's almost impossible to make an anti-war movie, it's equally hard to not make you cheer for an abuser.

And definitely more on the popcorn filck end, I know this takes a lot of flack, but I actually found a lot to like in Rocketman. I think it does the best job of being a jukebox biopic while also using the music to emotionally connect the songs with the artist's biography.

This assumes that there is a "real" story of any artist that can be told. I think this movie is weaving a tapestry of Dylan as a cultural phenomenon. Personally, I'm looking for more than filmed wiki article, I'd like to see an innovative take on a figure.
