Thank you, little sis, for making me the person I am today and for inspiring me to create inclusive experiences for everyone. We all deserve to be part of your party - I just wish you were here enjoying it with us! 💜 #BassTherapy #ForJody #AccessibleMusic #AccessibleEvents #AccessiBelleGlamping
Two sisters embracing in a warm, red-tinted light whilst glamping at. festival. The older sister Kyley smiles gently while Jody, the younger sister with disabilities, has a peaceful and joyful expression. Jody is holding a foam baseball bat. With Bass Therapy, we’re not just creating accessible spaces, we’re building experiences where everyone can feel the bass, join the crowd, and celebrate the beauty of music and connection...This is for Jody.

Through J-Fest, we realised that creating one accessible festival was powerful, but it wasn’t enough. Our mission grew: now, we work with other events to build accessible sensory spaces and activities, as well as accessible glamping - the only individual accessible glamping pods of their kind!

To honour Jody’s memory and her love for music, we created J-Fest, a fully accessible festival where everyone can experience the joy and freedom of live music, without barriers. J-Fest is more than an event; it’s a celebration of inclusion and a reminder that everyone deserves a place to belong.

Music, festivals, and live events held so much meaning for her and for us, but access barriers often tried to keep her on the sidelines—barriers we had to fight through. I wanted to change that, so no one else would miss out on the therapy music can bring.

Jody found pure joy in music—the feeling it gave her and the freedom it brought. I want to share that joy with everyone, no matter their needs. She taught me that music has a unique power to unite, uplift, and make us feel truly alive.

Why We Do What We Do... Losing my sister, Jody, in 2021 left me feeling lost, not knowing how to live without her. She was my best friend for 32 years. But through that grief, Bass Therapy 💜 was born—a place of love, passion, and a deep commitment to inclusion. #ForJody #InclusionMatters

An inclusive live music event with people in wheelchairs enjoying the front row near the stage. Ray Keith, a musician, is on stage performing with his band using a keytar, and the vibrant lights create an energetic atmosphere. The image highlights accessibility and inclusion, with audience members of all abilities fully immersed in the concert experience.
