my new gear, "verdict" the insane poly octave from "klowra". there is so much going on that there is no way it'll fit the character limit, a built in envelope filter, freeze function that'll sustain a note as long as it's pressed, even the LED is actually a secret button. #effectspedals

due to recent events, have this fun little guy, built in canada by GUPtech. it's an octave fuzz with a built in booster. it has separate footswitches for boost, octave and fuzz, 3 different clipping modes (1 of them being a rat) and the ever important bled knob for lots of options and full control.

todays experiment🥼🧪 can i put the black loop in the blender or does it degrade the tone too much? phone quality but it sounds fine to me, i guess it works well enough. switching between t-vixxen and stella core in the blender with the envelope filter always on.

as the heat is actively trying to kill me, i'll distract myself by posting more "idiot-engineering". this one is kind of cool, DIY fretwraps, they work "better" (for heavy gauges) than hair ties while being a lot cheaper than the brand stuff. they're neoprene bands for glasses. #bassguitar #bass

the last one was more of a joke but i have some examples of "idiot-engineering" that are actually quite usefull. as a cost-effective alternative to a slope you can just add a second pickguard for slap-assistance. neat bonus, the acrylic protects the tanuki sticker.😅 #bassguitar #bass

finally, the tanuki, a modified squire 70s. this one got fender noisless pickups and an active sadowsky pre amp, the tone is a bit harder to dial in but it's got some power. in terms of playability, the 18mm spacing and an additional pick guard make it my perfect slap machine. #bassguitar #bass
