Outreach is at the heart of everything we do. ☂️❤️ Every week, our outreach team takes our van out into the community, creating a safe space where women can stop for a chat, grab a coffee, and access support when they need it most.

Music, colouring, and writing can all help! We often run fun activities in our drop-ins. Talking: It can take a lot of courage to tell someone else how we’re feeling. Talking things through with a person we trust can feel like a relief and make us feel less alone. Step outside (even briefly): Fresh air, a short walk, or just sitting outside can help shift your mood, even for a few minutes.Graphic: Bright blue background with white and yellow patterns. Basis Yorkshire logo in the top right corner. Text reads: Basis is here to support you. Basis Yorkshire offers mental health and wellbeing services to all women and
non-binary people who sex work, and/or faced sexual exploitation. We also run community drop-ins Monday to Wednesday, 1-3 PM. Find more details on our website, or feel free to call if you have any questions. If you are an adult, call us on 0113 243 0036 or email info-basis@basisyorkshire.org.uk. If you are a young person or concerned for friend, find resources in our bio.

Too many street-based women we support are unable to access the care they need. The average age of death is just 41. We know this reflects real lives and real loss. To anyone who has experienced this, we are so sorry. You are not alone, let's talk. #dyingmatters #supportsexworkers #grief
