Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 02/02/2025Forgot to log onto here LMAO here’s something kind of recent #furryart #art #artsky #artist 0110
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 10/12/2024An emergency ref I made yesterday when I realised I had to draw this character next chapter #oc #ocsky #art 040
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 04/12/2024Also in case anyone misinterprets this!! I don’t hate Viv’s shows or the fans or anything I just personally don’t find them enjoyable the same way now. I’ll admit I do still kinda like some of the songs and characters (like Rosie she was cool) 000
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 04/12/2024“Yeah, I’m good at spelling.” I say, as if I didn’t just have to double check how to spell ultimate and release. 000
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 04/12/2024To clarify I don’t really consider myself a fan of Viv’s works anymore I just had a short hyperfixation on it when it was newly released and I still had recency bias towards it LOL 100
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 04/12/2024Of course 3 of my top songs this year were Hazbin OST. Karma of playing them for hours at a time on the treadmill back when it came out and I was obsessed #Spotifywrapped 130
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 27/11/2024Hey! The first episode of Starline is now up on Tapas! Im planning on going for a weekly or biweekly update schedule going forward #comic tapas.io/episode/3367...tapas.ioRead Starline :: Intro | Tapas CommunityRead Starline and more premium Mystery Community series now on Tapas! 010
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 25/11/2024Mercury’s design for Starline. Posting might be slower going forward because I’m trying to focus on getting started on the Starline comic #art #oc #ocsky #ocart 030
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 24/11/2024dandys world again I swear I’ll post more Starline content soon I just had to get my DW brainrot out of the way first #dandysworld #art 5538
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 23/11/2024dont think ive ever posted dandys world art (yes this is moonshell) #dandysworld #art 1617
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 17/11/2024This is where I left it off. I’m probably gonna try to pick it back up at some point (or remake the old pages of it before that) 000
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 17/11/2024A thread of all the Deltasnap (Au) comic pages I made back in 2022-2023 #deltarune 110
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 17/11/2024A while ago I started making a comic for a Deltatune Au called Deltasnap and I haven’t updated it since like June 2023. Maybe I should get back to it at some point 000
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 15/11/2024Nothing new to post today so here’s smth from a few weeks ago #projectsekai #art 042
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 14/11/2024To give an example, if a character lives on a planet where one orbit takes 730 days each, then on that planet 730 days is considered one year. On that planet, a 1 year old would be equivalent to a 2 year old on earth. 000
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 14/11/2024Just a quick note. Since starline characters live on different planets with different orbits, they technically use different calendars from earths 12 month 365 days. When talking about character’s ages and birthdays, I will be referring to what they would be equivalent to on the earth calendar 100
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 14/11/2024The reason I’m asking is just so I know the best way to format the pages when I start drawing them out. Since some websites use particular formatting (Like webtoon using a scrolling format) 000
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 14/11/2024Yo, a question for those who are interested in reading Starline when it comes out; Where do you prefer do read comics on? Webtoon, Tapas, etc… Or I could just post the pages straight to here if that’s preferred 100
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 13/11/2024I started participating back in 2023 and it’s been a really good experience for me so far. (It gives me an excuse to draw cool ocs) 010
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 13/11/2024I unfortunately wasn’t known for much since I never gained a large fanbase there LMAO I did have a random Undertale fanart get a few hundred likes though which is something 000
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 13/11/2024Just a quick post but I made a small strawpage basilscott.straw.page (yes I know nothing about graphic design dont judge me)basilscott.straw.pagebasilscott's strawpageMade with StrawPage 000
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 13/11/2024Beyond other reasons for these just not working, Callisto in current canon is Aroace LOL 100
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 13/11/2024Callisto had two relationships in the early versions of the story. She was originally going to get with Io, and at some point I was going to have her get together with a character I haven’t introduced yet due to lore reasons 100
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 13/11/2024Another fun fact, Ganymede and Europa we’re originally gonna get together romantically. This is of course scrapped and none of the main four characters will have any canon relationships 100
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 13/11/2024I do remember Ganymede had a giant longsword in his original design from I think 2017? Of course he’s a highschooler so his current version having a longsword would kinda be nonsensical LMAO I think Europa also had a Spear 100
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 13/11/2024On the topic of old designs of Starline characters, here is art from 2023 of Callisto and Ganymede. They also had older designs beyond this but I’ve lost any images I would’ve had of them sadly. 110
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 13/11/2024These are from earlier in the year but I wanna show em. These are the first concepts for the comic characters based on the solar system. They’re all gonna have slight redesigns from these versions ofc (and Mars will get a design aswell lol) #art #oc #ocart 061
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 12/11/2024Another one of my comic’s characters. He works as a manager for one of Starline’s (a company in his universe) branch offices #art #oc 040
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 12/11/2024Quote repost your art that has stars! An experimental piece I made back in march with two of my anthro characters. I wanted it to portray the scene while using as little details as possible #art 000
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 10/11/2024(I like to imagine they wear the alternate hairstyles occasionally btw so they aren’t necessarily scrapped) 000
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 10/11/2024Just sharing a few of the concept sketches I made while coming up with character designs (They’re a bit older I think but most info on the first two like Europa’s hand are still accurate) 100
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 09/11/2024Adding random stupid details to oc lore is genuinely so fun. Like yes Ganymede doesn’t know the difference between you’re and your. Does this fact add anything meaningful to the story? Absolutely not. But it’s still fun. 000
Reposted by Basil 🧷Luna ⭐️COMMISSIONS ARE OPEN!⭐️ @lunaforester.bsky.social · 07/11/2024I hardly see anything about Palestine here, and that must change. Here is a thread of vetted fundraisers for people in Palestine who need help! All fundraisers are from gaza-evacuation-funds on tumblr. I don’t verify fundraisers 🧵🇵🇸 4156486249
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 08/11/2024I’ll admit as someone who’s super sensitive to the cold I’ve been kinda enjoying it but god I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t feel like we’re doomed right now 000
Basil 🧷 @basilscott.bsky.social · 08/11/2024I think I forgot to post this one, just a messier drawing in my second artstyle with Io and Europa (Io is really good with makeup) #art #oc 040
