Just about to catch a super early flight to Brussels to add some thoughts on #osint, forensics and digital archives to this expert conference. Looking forward to mingle among web archivists from all over the globe. 👋 #iipcWAC26

Digital preservation is cultural memory work. Websites disappear. Platforms shutdown. Links rot. Online creativity can vanish! For digital humanities, archiving the web means safeguarding historical records of the cultural moment, but preserving something so dynamic & vast is technically complex!

Wikipedia banned Archive.today. 700,000 citation links removed. Reason: forensic evidence that archived captures had been altered — by the service itself. I’ve been working on web evidence tools for journalists for years. This story hit differently.
